Canadian film tax credits:  The Canadian Audio-Visual Certification Office co-administers the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit (CPTC) and the Film or Video Production Services Tax Credit (PSTC).  The objective of the CPTC is to encourage Canadian programming and to develop an active domestic production sector. The PSTC is available at a rate of 16 per cent of qualified Canadian labour expenditures.

CFPTA:  The Canadian Film and Television Production Association is a non-profit trade association representing almost 400 Canadian production companies involved in television, film and interactive media.  Their goal is to promote and stimulate the Canadian production industry.
